Delivery On The Day (Delivery Monday - Saturday)
Your balloon gift will be sent by Royal Mail Next Day Tracked or Courier Delivery.
This means your balloon will have a delivery between 8am and 5pm on your chosen day (Monday to Saturday).
No signature is required and the box can be left with a neighbour or in a safe place if this option has been chosen.


Free Post 1-3 Days (Free but not a specific delivery date)
Your balloon gift will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post or a courier where needed and will be dispatched the day before delivery is requested. Please note that 1st Class deliveries are not guaranteed to arrive on a specific day. If your balloon requires a definite delivery date you should choose any other delivery option.
While Royal Mail deliver 80 to 90% of 1st Class post next day, there is no guarantee your balloon will arrive on the day chosen. Sorry but refunds for late delivery on balloons sent by 1st Class mail cannot be given. Please note 1st Class deliveries do not require a signature and we have no way to track your order.


Delivery On The Day, Before 1pm or 10am (Delivery Monday - Saturday)
Your balloon will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by Courier Delivery.
This means your balloon gift will have a delivery before your chosen time on your chosen day (Monday to Saturday).
No signature is required and the box can be left with a neighbour or in a safe place if this option has been chosen.

  • If for some reason a delivery attempt has not been made on the chosen day or before your chosen time you will be entitled to a refund of your delivery charge.

  • The delivery time chosen is a BEFORE time, before 1pm or before 10am can arrive anytime after 8am.

  • If recipient is out and you have requested to leave in a safe place or with a neighbour these instructions will be followed where possible. Please note that in the rare circumstances that there are no safe places or neighbours are not answering the box may be returned to the depot and a card left informing recipient.

  • If recipient is out and you have requested a signature the box will be returned to the depot and a card left informing recipient.

  • Please note if a card has been left re-delivery same day may not be possible.


BFPO Deliveries
British Forces deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact day selected and cannot be sent if the final destination is outside the UK.

Strike Action
In the case of a strike by Royal Mail or courier we will use an alternative couriers to make deliveries. Please note that timed deliveries (1pm & 10am) do not apply and deliveries will take place before the end of the working day.

Remote postcode areas
In some cases when ordering the earliest delivery date available will differ depending on the destination postcode due to Royal Mail or courier restictions.

Q. Are the balloons inflated when they arrive?
A. Yes, all our balloon gifts come inflated with helium and tied to matching colour weights with curly ribbons.

Q. How are the balloons delivered?
A. In a large white box, fully sealed with no clue as to the contents, the gift will be a complete surprise.

Q. Who delivers your balloons?
A. All balloons are delivered by Royal Mail or a Courier.

Q. At what time will my balloons be delivered?
A. This depends on the delivery type you choose. You can choose:
Delivery on the day which will arrive between 8am and 5pm.
Delivery before 10am which will arrive between 8am and 10am.
Delivery before 1pm which will arrive between 8am and 1pm.
Free post 1-3 days where the time is dependent on the post round delivery time.

Q. Can I specify an afternoon delivery?
A. Sorry, this is not available at this point.

Q. What happens if nobody is home?
A. At the time of ordering you can choose from multiple options from leaving in a safe place, leaving with a neighbour or even requesting a signature must be obtained.

Q. I need to change the address/message/other details. Can I do this after the order has been confirmed?
A. Yes, we are more than happy to change anything. However we can only do this as long as the box has not been dispatched.

Q. My box is being delivered today. I need to change the address. Is this possible?
A. No, an address cannot be altered after the box has been dispatched.

Q. If I want to send a gift anonymously, is this possible?
A. Yes, no information other than your message for the card is ever passed to recipients.

Q. Can I track my order?
A. Yes, track your order from the box on the home page using your email address and order ID.

Q. How long will my balloons stay floating?
A. The average flying time for a helium filled foil balloon is 4-6 days,
and in many cases longer, please note that the delivery company may store
parcels in cold temperatures causing helium to deflate, however when placed
back into a warm environment the helium rapidly expands again.

Q. How should I dispose of my balloons?
A. Never release balloons into the sky. When you’re done – cut the end of the
balloon with a pair of scissors and dispose of the spent balloon in the bin.

 Refunds
Late Delivery Refunds
If for some reason (excluding adverse weather, strikes, blockades or natural disasters) a delivery attempt has not been made on your chosen day Balloon Monkey will refund your delivery charge.

Sorry but refunds for late delivery on balloons sent by the free post 1-3 day option cannot be given.

Damaged, Lost or Missing Goods Refunds
If a item is missing from your order or damaged we will replace it or refund you for the cost of the missing or damaged item only, not the whole order.

If for some reason your balloons are delayed and you no longer require them, or arrive damaged and a full refund is requested, we reserve the right to request that they are either refused at the point of delivery or posted back to us. (We will re-imburse any postage costs incurred)

Damaged or lost orders must be reported to us within 7 days of the chosen delivery date.

Under any other circumstances, refunds are given at the discretion of Balloon Monkey.

Complaints
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 1 working day and resolve complaints within 3-4 working days.
 Safety and Allergy Warnings


Balloons sent by our service are for decoration purposes and are not intended as toys. Keep uninflated balloons away from children. Discard broken balloons immediately.

Young children can choke or suffocate on uninflated balloons or broken balloons, weights or accessories. Keep uninflated balloons or broken balloons, weights or accessories away from children. Discard broken balloons, weights or accessories immediately.

Beware of entanglement risk with ribbons attached to these balloons. Not suitable for children under 36 months.

Adult supervision is required as some items delivered with these balloons may not be toys.

Never under any circumstances, inhale, or allow anyone to inhale the helium in these balloons.

Ordered gifts may contain edible items which may cause allergies, please check ingredients label carefully before consuming.

Parts of the "Bubble Insider Balloons" can be made of natural rubber latex which may cause allergies.

Ordered gifts may contain tissue paper and paper confetti tissue which may cause allergies.

Balloon Monkey can not take responsibility for any issue arising from an allergy to items within your order.
